Yorkshire Elegance, an exciting three-day classic and prestige car event has been announced in aid of Yorkshire Children’s Charity, organised by The Fast Lane Club, and supported by classic car enthusiast and owner of Bowcliffe Hall and The Yorke Arms, Jonathan Turner.

The event, which runs from 19th – 21st July 2022, will aim to raise vital funds for Yorkshire Children’s Charity, to support the region’s most vulnerable and disenfranchised children.

Starting on Tuesday 19th July with the Harewood Hillclimb, spectators will see more than 70 classic and prestige cars including Aston Martin, Jaguar, Austin Healey, Bentley, Porsche and Ferrari’s running up the famous Harewood hill. VIP ticket holders will also be invited to drive their cars on the track, with all guests free to roam and view the stunning cars in the paddock.

On Wednesday 20th July, day two will be held at the stunning Bowcliffe Hall, in celebration of 100 years of Jaguar and Ferrari’s 75th Anniversary. A prestigious Concours Competition and parade around the grounds of Bowcliffe along with a delicious BBQ & Spanish tapas will be on offer to guests, with live music and huge display of classic & prestige cars to peruse.

The final day of the prestige event will see the Yorkshire Driving Tour take to the road for VIP ticket holders, leaving from Bowcliffe Hall, arriving for lunch at Swinton Park and finishing off with afternoon tea at Grantley Hall – it will be a day to remember. A finale dinner will also be held at Grantley Hall with a final overnight stay at Yorkshire’s finest hotel.

Charlotte Farrington, CEO at Yorkshire Children’s Charity said: “This is one of the most exciting events in our 2022 calendar and we are thrilled with the support from The Fast Lane Club and Jonathan Turner. Prestige fundraising events such as these are vital for our charity and will make a huge impact on the support we can offer to children and families across Yorkshire who are supported by Yorkshire Children’s Charity.”

Simon Smith, managing director of the Fast Lane Club said: “All the glamorous and high-end car events take place in the south or England. We don’t have a prestige car event in the north which is why we created Yorkshire Elegance – ‘a right good, fancy car event in Yorkshire’. We will be bringing an incredible collection of classic and prestige modern cars together for three wonderful days for anyone to come and enjoy. We don’t know of another event that combines fun on a track, a wonderful garden party, a driving tour and finale dinner. It is tremendous to be working with the team at Yorkshire Children’s Charity, to raise awareness and funds for such a special organisation.

Day tickets start at £39pp and VIP packages are available including access to all three days, overnight stays and VIP ‘perks’.
