Pell Frischmann, one of the largest Consulting Engineering firms in the UK have appointed Huddersfield based Synergos Consultancy Ltd to help them with the development and implementation of an ISO 27001 certified Information Security Management System. They are working towards this certification as this certification reinforces their commitment to information security for their people, clients and partners.
The project working group at Pell Frischmann collectively agree that: “While the key Driver for our ISO 27001 certification is contractual requirement cited by a major client, it also supports our wider GDPR efforts. It is a valuable tool when it comes to protecting corporate information assets as well as information on our staff because it provides the foundation of how we manage our data and our client's data; helping us meet our legal obligations as well as protecting our staff and clients. This standard is expected by a number of our key clients – such as Highways England – and we are sure that many will follow suit. So this work, and what it supports, will also future proof our business against emerging procurement trends.”
Synergos has made great steps since it was founded in 2014 by Jenny Kilburn and offers services to all Public and Private sectors across the nation and have increased their client base over the last 7 years to over 200.
