Kirklees College has announced details of the next round of Virtual Open Days to be held in June to support prospective students and applicants considering their next steps.

Open to Year 11 students, parents and carers and applicants, the Virtual Open Days will take place over two days on Tuesday 29 June and Wednesday 30 June 2021. A new format has been introduced this summer to offer school leavers information about the student experience at Kirklees College, application and enrolment details, information about full-time study programmes and apprenticeships, as well as the opportunity to ask tutors live questions.

There will also be live presentations delivered via the Kirklees College website dedicated to each centre which will provide students with an insight into college life, specific centre information, the support and facilities available and virtual campus tours.

Helen Rose, Director of External Relations at Kirklees College, said:

“Our Virtual Open Days this summer aim to help young people who have already applied to study with us and those who may not still be certain on what they want to do feel more confident about their next steps. We hope these events will offer a great insight into college life and the fantastic facilities and support we have available across our campuses.”

Registration for the upcoming Virtual Open Days is now open. If students are unable to attend an event live, they can go to the Kirklees College YouTube channel where a recording of the session will be available to view.
