North Yorkshire IT services provider Integral IT has made a £140,000 investment in moving from its Harrogate base into larger, refurbished offices in Knaresborough.
The company’s new home in Whitfield Business Park covers two floors and features open plan office space with capacity for 15 administrative and technical support staff as well as a separate boardroom and meeting space.
The business, which specialises in supporting SME clients with between 10 and 200 staff, serves over 100 clients throughout Yorkshire. Providing a comprehensive suite of 24/7 IT services, it manages the IT for over 1,200 staff across the UK and remote workers as far away as the USA.
Founded 15 years ago by managing director Jonathan Edwards, Integral IT’s complete IT support includes IT consultancy, cyber security services and cloud hosting. It has built up a broad range of clients across professional services, including a specialism in serving the legal and accounting sectors.
Jonathan comments: “While many businesses are moving to a home working or hybrid model post COVID, we have found that the collaborative nature of our work, together with the relatively young age profile of the team, means that we interact more effectively with one another and are more productive if we share a physical space.
“Over the last year, we’ve seen a raft of new contract wins as businesses recognise the importance of having a reliable IT partner who makes it possible for them to function seamlessly, wherever their team is based.
“Now more than ever, companies big and small need the reassurance of having expert IT support on hand to solve any issues as well as having the ability to provide comprehensive cyber security services to protect their data.
“As a result, we’ve seen rapid growth in recent months and we’re gearing up for further expansion ahead– we expect to pretty much have filled our new offices by Christmas as we continue to recruit.”
