Lockdown has been hard on some businesses, especially at a local level, with many places having to think of new initiatives and creative ways to engage with their customers. That is why the team over at Love Yorkshire Coast have launched a new Park&Win scheme to encourage people to shop local and aid the recovery of the high street.

The exciting new initiative offers shoppers the chance to win a raft of amazing prizes from major retailers like B&Q and Boots as well as some of the best local businesses in Bridlington like Promenades, Bridlington Golf Club and Manor Court Hotel.

With prizes including: A one night B&B stay for two people at the Belvedere Hotel & Golf!; £100 Gift Voucher for Heron Foods!; RSPB Avocet 8x42mm Binoculars worth £135! and many more. All of these prizes and more are up for grabs every Sunday at 8pm, here is all that you need to be in with a chance:

When parking in one of the designated car parks, keep hold of your qualifying ticket, simply enter the code on the back of it and you’ll be entered into the prize draw. It really is that easy!

Instead of letting old parking tickets gather dust on the dashboard, put them to good use and be in with the chance of winning prizes worth over £1000!

Kerry Carruthers, from Love Yorkshire Coast, part of the Yorkshire Coast BID commented on the scheme: “In accordance with the government’s roadmap and the reopening of non-essential retail we are dedicated in our efforts to encourage people to shop local and return to the high street.

“It’s been a difficult time for many during the Covid-19 pandemic, especially for local high street businesses, many of whom have been forced to close for long periods of time. We’re optimistic about the future and want to do everything we possibly can to help attract people to the coast and support our brilliant local businesses, which is why we will continue to launch schemes like Park&Win and hope it will be a huge success.”

The scheme launched in May with the tickets live in the Pay & Display car parks, prize winners will be announced every week from the 23rd May through to the end of September.

Prizes are drawn every Sunday at 8pm. All prizes are from Bridlington businesses who are part of the Yorkshire Coast BID with a mixture of nationals and independents taking part.
