Test Meter Group, a leading thermal imaging solutions provider, is helping companies across the region to get back to work safely, thanks to its temperature screening solutions. The FOTRIC 226B product has been distributed by Test Meter Group across Yorkshire in response to a growing demand from businesses in the region looking to re-mobilise their workplaces.

The innovative thermal imaging product uses temperature screening to ensure anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 is identified – reducing the risk of outbreak pockets across the region. It is hoped that early adoption of the product by businesses will help to reduce recently seen localised outbreaks.
Lasse Tonnesen, Managing Director at Test Meter Group, said: “As Yorkshire looks to get back to work, we’ve been working hard with new and existing customers to ensure they have the tools in place to keep employees and members of the public safe.

“Fever screening will play a key role in allowing many businesses to return to a new type of normality while operating safely in the weeks to come and we are confident that this new technology can help businesses to offer the reassurance needed as they look to reopen.”

Test Meter Group is currently supplying businesses spanning sectors, including gyms and health clubs, retail outlets, manufacturing, warehouses and higher and secondary education with FOTRIC 226B.

The technology uses AI face detection to automatically lock each individual face for temperature measurement and features an intelligent temperature calibration algorithm, which prevents false negatives. If the imager detects an abnormal temperature, FOTRIC 226B automatically emits an alert, allowing for a rapid on-site identification. The company has seen a surge in interest for the infrared thermal fever screening system, of which Test Meter Group is the exclusive UK distributor.
