With two locations, one in Chapel Allerton and the other in the heart of Headingley, De Baga's restaurants promise an immersive dining experience that harmonises the essence of Indian cuisine with a modern twist. Under the guidance of the esteemed Chef Clive Silveira the menu at De Baga features an array of dishes crafted with precision and creativity, showcasing the diverse flavours and regional specialities of India.

Founder Mandeep Singh said: “In 2019 I wanted to be more creative with Indian food and craft a Michelin standard onto the plate, one that would be fuelled by heritage and taste. It’s also around the same time I decided to collaborate with a very good friend and talented Chef, Clive Silveira, and as the saying goes, the rest is history.”

“We launched our first Modern Indian Dining & Cocktail Bar in the heart of Headingley, Leeds soon after and we’ve had our customers taste buds at the heart of our decisions ever since.”

Mandeep looked back on the journey so far: “It was a successful collaboration that led us to be finalist in the Oliver’s Awards in 2020, and winner of The Taste of The Year Award (North England) 2022 at the Asian Food & Restaurant Awards in London.

With such roaring success achieved in 3 short years, we expanded with a new secondary branch in Chapel Allerton, North Leeds in 2022 and now rank amongst the best Indian Restaurants in Leeds. Something we are collectively proud of.”

This year, De Baga is thrilled to unveil its exclusive Festive Menu, available from November 21st to December 24th. The set menu begins with a delectable house mix starter followed by a diverse selection of mains, carefully curated to include vegetarian options and complemented by an assortment of sides. Guests will also be welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine, beer, or a refreshing soft drink upon arrival.
