Flexible workspace provider, Wizu Workspace, has continued its expansion across the North of England with the acquisition of a new ‘out of town’ workspace in North Leeds, in response to the rising needs for flexible suburban workspace.

Wizu, which already has 5 workspaces across Leeds, Sheffield and Bradford, acquired the new Richmond House workspace in Lawnswood Business Park, following a multi-million pound revamp, and plans to launch it’s popular membership model with a new vibrant coworking space, flexible all-inclusive serviced offices for up to 250 workstations and design-led meeting rooms.

Tom Almas, founder & managing director at Wizu explained: “The rising trend of businesses looking for flexible suburban workspace, where there’s less dependence on public transport into city centres, made it the ideal time for us to expand our popular offering into the out-of-town market, at a modern location which suits our vibrant, forward-thinking brand.

“This not only gives our existing members more flexibility to utilise the out-of-town coworking, dedicated desks and meeting rooms, but also presents an opportunity for businesses looking to adopt a hybrid model of centralised head office space and dispersed offices, to suit the changing needs of their workforce.”

When asked why Wizu chose the North Leeds area for their new workspace, Tom commented: “With most businesses finding the hiring market incredibly competitive right now, our new ultra-accessible Richmond House location offers the ideal opportunity to attract top talent, in an area which is abundant with bright professionals who will relish not having to travel too far for work. The site is also in a beautiful setting surrounded by greenery, with dedicated outdoor seating, ample parking and excellent onsite amenities.

“The response so far speaks for itself - despite only recently completing the agreement we’re already 25% prelet - so we know the demand for modern, suburban workspace is strong.”

The new Richmond House workspace, which boasts excellent transport connections, will feature a 1000sq ft vibrant coworking space, design-led meeting and conference rooms, flexible serviced offices, phone-booths and quiet spaces, all with super-fast connectivity.

Dom Ketteringham, asset manager at Hillview Real Estate, said: “Hillview is delighted to be partnering with Wizu Workspace on the new flexible workspace offering at Richmond House, Leeds. We were looking to work with one serviced office provider at Lawnswood Business Park and Wizu was the clear choice for us. Not only has Wizu shown itself to be a standout provider in the flexible workspace industry, but it also shares our values of providing design-led, uplifting workspace. This new agreement is an important part of our overall proposition to continue to enhance Lawnswood Business Park and we look forward to many years of this exciting partnership”.
