The Yorkshire industrial and logistics team at global property advisory firm Knight Frank have been appointed marketing agents by Baytree on their latest development ‘Baytree Leeds’.

Baytree Leeds consists of a prime 552,000 sq ft logistics scheme spanning three units situated in Stourton, South Leeds. The development is located 3 miles south-east of Leeds city centre and adjacent to both J7 of the M621 and J44 M1.

Adjoining national occupiers include Royal Mail, Arla Foods, Verallia UK and Moran Logistics.

The site is ideally situated next to the Leeds Freightliner Terminal, one of the busiest intermodal container terminals in the UK providing daily services to Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway, giving occupiers the opportunity to decarbonise their supply chain.

Construction is already underway for two, best-in-class warehouse units of 76,285 & 145,476 sq. ft with practical completion expected for Q3 this year. The final plot is able to accommodate up to 330,000 sq. ft. on a bespoke build-to-suit basis.

Tom Goode, partner at Knight Frank Leeds' office said "Knight Frank are delighted to have been appointed by Baytree on their market leading scheme in Leeds. The development will provide some much-needed speculative development in a prime Leeds location with unit sizes to accommodate a variety of occupiers.

Iain McPhail, partner in the Knight Frank Yorkshire team added: " Baytree Leeds is being built to a market leading specification, targeting BREEAM Outstanding, EPC A & WELL ready standards. The buildings will also include technology allowing occupiers to monitor energy consumption & occupancy data in order to drive sustainability, energy efficiencies and building user wellbeing.”

Knight Frank have been appointed alongside JLL & DTRE.
