Wakefield Hospice is inviting everyone to remember a loved one this Christmas by dedicating a light on the Tree of Lights for its annual 'Light up a Life' appeal.
The hospice will send supporters a personalised card for each dedication, and each name will appear in the Book of Christmas Blessings displayed at Wakefield Cathedral over the festive period.
This year everyone who dedicates a light will also receive a small copy of the Book of Blessings so they can view their dedication at home. The hospice’s ‘Light up a Life’ service, which is usually attended by hundreds of supporters, will be held online this year and everyone is invited to join by watching at home.
