Chartered accountancy and business advisory firm, Hentons, has rebranded the business as a part of its corporate strategy to assert its proposition as it pursues rapid growth across the UK.

The Top 100* practice has been very active on the acquisitions trail over the last few years in a bid to expand its national footprint and grow critical mass in the services that it offers.

Last month Hentons merged with Sheffield based accountancy firm Voice & Co, this was on the back of joining forces with London based accountancy firm Clayton Stark & Co in December 2021 and last summer it formed a joint venture with Sheffield based Mackenzie Spencer to create Hentons Corporate Services. This has allowed the practice to enhance its national corporate finance service.

With plans in the pipeline for further acquisitions for 2022 and beyond, the Yorkshire headquartered company anticipates a considerable increase in turnover from £7.1 million to over £9 million putting it on track to achieve its business target of £21 million turnover by 2025.

Nadeem Ahmed, managing partner said, “We are excited about the future for Hentons as we actively pursue acquisitive and organic growth and believe that we now have the scale, critical mass, and funding in place to be able to invest in the necessary infrastructure and team expertise to become a Top 40 practice.

“As we evolve, diversify, and expand our specialist teams with a nationwide growth strategy in place, we felt that the time was right to evaluate our brand identity in line with our mission.

“Working with brand specialists, Grey Matter, we have consulted in detail with our team, clients, and strategic partners to arrive at a dynamic set of values that reflect Confidence, Trust, Dynamism, Connections and People. We believe that this really underpins our culture, approach, and the promises that we make to our clients with an identity that can help us to attract the best talent as well as new business.”
