Award-winning Leeds-based estate agents, HARDISTY AND CO, has acquired a new office in the LS12 area of Leeds on Town Street, Armley. This will be the company’s fourth branch and covers the area to the West of the city.

The Armley office will be headed up by former owner and office manager, Nichola Ashby along with senior valuer Jamie Gathercole, area lettings manager Daniel Andrews and their experienced team of sales and lettings negotiators.

Hardisty & Co is a family owned, independent estate agency run by brothers Andrew and Ian Hardisty along with their wives, Tracey and Gemma. Established in Horsforth as Waite & Co in 1992, Andrew took over the business in 2001 and has grown the company to employ a team of 53 across four branches covering the North, North-West and West of Leeds; the Wharfe Valley, Aireborough and Bradford.

Andrew said; “This is a really exciting time for us as we expand across Leeds. Our company has grown significantly over the past six years since re-branding. The business has gone from strength to strength and with the incorporation of this fourth office, as well as expanding our residential sales, prestige, lettings, financial services, new homes and commercial divisions, we anticipate great things going forward.”

“The past year has been really challenging for everyone and as a family business, we feel so privileged to be in a position to have been able to add our new office to the network, creating exciting employment opportunities and also allowing us to support the local community in LS12 as we do within Horsforth, Guiseley and Otley branches.”

Ian said: “We offer a wide and varied selection of properties in highly sought-after suburbs of both Leeds and Bradford. We are fortunate to be able to offer properties from one end of the pricing scale to the other and we stick to a strict work ethic to ensure that we are a pro-active and forward-thinking agent guaranteeing optimum exposure to the market for all of our client’s properties and maximising the best possible prices for them.

Ian went on to say “We are continually working hard to ensure our clients receive a tailored service to their individual needs to be sure that each property remains current and in line with current market conditions and factors.”
