Leading Yorkshire marketing agency DS.Emotion has won the highest honour at this year’s prestigious Property Marketing Awards (PMAs).

The flourishing Leeds-based agency, which also has offices in Manchester and London, won the Grand Prix award in recognition of its overall quality of work, submissions and achievements.

The awards, the Oscars of the property marketing industry, were held at a prestigious ceremony in central London.

Matt Button, co-founder commented: “I am immensely proud of the team's achievements in delivering creatively and strategically for all our clients. To have this recognised by being shortlisted in five of the thirteen categories at the PMAs is great recognition for all the hard work.

“With a win and a highly commended under our belts, we were already enjoying the awards. But then to come away with the judges’ Grand Prix award for the "best of the best", that topped a great evening.

“I'd like to congratulate all the other winners and thank the judges for all the time they put into judging the many, many entries received,” added Matt. “Like us, all the companies who entered these awards take tremendous pride in their work and it makes us all proud to be recognised and honoured at these prestigious awards.”

The judges explained that the Grand Prix was awarded to the “best of the best” that property marketing has to offer, selected from all the winning entries from all the categories in this year’s awards. It is an overarching award, purely at the discretion of the judges.

DS. Emotion also won the Best Brand Experience (Angel Central, Islington - Summer Fete) and was shortlisted for Best Marketing Campaign: Placemaking (King Street, Manchester), a category they had won for the previous two years.

The agency was also shortlisted in the Best Website category (Smithfield Works) and the Marketing for Good category (Better Barnsley, a new mixed-use regeneration development for Barnsley town centre).

The Property Marketing Awards (PMA) is a not-for-profit event, organised annually by the Chartered Surveyors’ Company, a City of London livery company. Winning a PMA has a far-reaching impact and brings valuable exposure for agencies, consultancies, property companies and in-house marketing teams.

The independent PMA judging panel includes marketing professionals at the top of their respective fields and is chaired by Misa Von Tunzelman, Head of Corporate Affairs and Marketing for LendLease in Europe.
