Bellway’s open house weekend takes place at its Clifford Gardens development in Skipton on October 5th and 6th and will see the front doors opened for the first time on the 1,902 sq. ft five-bedroom detached Kettlewell and the four-bedroom, double-garaged Sandringham, which offers 1,646 sq. ft of living space.

Paula Murdoch, Yorkshire’s sales manager, said: “I’ve always loved open house weekends as they really do give people a great chance to get a feel for a house when it’s still very much a blank canvas.”

“It’s always nice to listen to potential buyers walking around, admiring the space and debating what should go where and who should get which bedroom – it really does bring an empty house to life.”

And both homes in Skipton are certainly still blank canvases. The Kettlewell, will be presented very much as a work in progress with kitchen and bathrooms fitted, while the Sandringham is fully carpeted and ready to move in to.

In addition to the two open house properties, there are two show homes on the development – the Addingham and the Hambleton.

Close to 40 per cent of the 188 homes on the 16.5-acre, Carleton Road development are now sold and interest in the properties currently on release is sky high – a position that has helped cement Clifford Gardens’ position as Bellway’s fastest selling in Yorkshire.

“The surge in sales figures in Skipton ties in perfectly with the build progress,” added Paula. “The more there is to see, the more homes sell and I’m certain that the Open House weekend will see another rush of people deciding that Clifford Gardens is the place they want to call home.”
