Yorkshire manufacturers are having some festive fun of their own this Christmas with their unique spin on this seasonal tradition.
The teams at Hine Labels in Rotherham and Keighley-based specialist core manufacturers Stell, have decided to have some fun at work with their own take on The Elf on the Shelf®. And have created Core on a Door, ‘humanising’ cardboard core tubes.
The result is a hilarious festive themed social media campaign that the businesses hope will capture the imaginations of other companies across the county.
Stell managing director Lee Skelton says: “Hine Labels are a long-standing customer of Stell and, when we heard about Core on a Door and saw their creative use of our cores, we thought it was brilliant. The team here love it and are getting in on the act too!”
Hine Labels marketing manager Rob Lucas says: “The idea came from our marketing assistant Becky, who wanted to create something fun for social media ahead of the holidays. Core on a Door is the first in a series of our comedy use of Stell’s sustainably produced cardboard cores.
