Hull’s newest steakhouse restaurant and rooftop cocktail bar, One Steakhouse & Lounge, has officially opened its doors to the public following a private launch earlier this month.
Standing just next to North Bridge, the building has been a landmark in the area for almost one hundred years. After a decade of disuse, the space has undergone a complete transformation into a stylish 200-seat steakhouse and rooftop bar.
Edison Motina, co-owner, shared his excitement. He said: “I’m incredibly happy with how the space has come together. It’s a magnificent building, and I’m glad people are able to make memories here again.”
At the foundation of the restaurant’s menu is a focus on high-quality Yorkshire produce combined with classic Mediterranean flavours. The centrepiece of their offer is a selection of premium, 32-day dry-aged steaks, which are grilled to order. Other options include fresh seafood and herbaceous vegetarian plates.
The restaurant has had a successful first week of bookings, receiving enthusiastic reviews from early customers.
Edison added: “I’m so proud of the team for creating such an amazing opening night for our first visitors. We are excited to welcome even more of Hull to experience One Steakhouse & Lounge in the coming weeks.”
One Steakhouse & Lounge, located at 1 Witham, is open seven days a week, with tables available to book on the website. Car parking is available opposite the restaurant, costing £2 all day (free after 6pm). Visitors to One Steakhouse & Lounge will get the £2 deducted from their bill.
