Bellingham IT, the Wakefield based technology solutions specialist, has successfully gained its Cyber Essentials certification to further enhance the company’s security protocol.

The accreditation, which focuses on making systems more secure, comes as result of Bellingham’s commitment to safeguarding itself and its customers from cyber-attacks and other technology threats found online.

Paul Lockwood, operations manager at Bellingham IT comments: “We are very proud of this achievement! Being Cyber Essentials certified demonstrates that as an organisation we have a clear understanding of our own cyber security level and in turn protect our IT infrastructure just as we would for our customers.”

“By doing so, we go further than just offering ‘typical assistance’; what we offer business leaders is peace of mind knowing that their IT support and hardware provider genuinely recognises the importance of a well protected network and systems.”

“It’s all about ‘leading by example’ for us. Given we communicate so much on the importance of keeping technology secure for our customers, it was only fitting to prove that we practice what we preach.”

“Ultimately, we want our customers to know that adhering to the highest of standards is a priority for our business. It’s why we recently also became ISO 9001 certified too. Thanks to Caroline Kaye (principal consultant at CRK Consulting), who helped us back then and has supported us this time round also.”

Bellingham provides IT support for businesses throughout the Wakefield and Leeds districts, specialising in hardware, operating systems and application software.
