The highly awarded Masons of Yorkshire Distillery is delighted to announce that its Classic Vodka will be the only vodka served on all first class routes between Inverness to London Kings Cross, and Aberdeen to Kings Cross. An exciting marketing drive is planned for 2023 to elevate the partnership and demonstrate the commitment of Yorkshire’s first distillery to the award-winning long distance operator.
The announcement comes after a hugely successful pouring deal with the best-selling Original Gin and when Masons of Yorkshire gets ready to celebrate its 10-year anniversary in June 2023. Travel Retail is a huge focus for the team this year, with onboard listings for the products now confirmed with TransPennine Express and 4 in World Duty Free at Leeds Bradford and Manchester Airports, starting this Summer.
Masons of Yorkshire is one of the most highly awarded distilled spirits brands in the UK, with over 125 international awards and counting. LNER was named ‘Best UK Domestic Train Service’ at the Business Traveller Awards 2022. It follows several other prestigious award wins for the long-distance operator, including ‘App of the Year.’
Karl Mason, Masons of Yorkshire co-founder,says: “We are particularly proud of this partnership and LNER is a great team to work with. No form of marketing beats liquid on lips and this first class deal allows us to do this on a mass scale. Travel partnerships are going to be a huge focus for us into 2023 as staycations and travel in the UK booms. Cheers to that!”
