Leading international supplier of aesthetic laser devices, Laseraid, which has offices in Leeds, has appointed Guy Bunn as chief operating officer to lead its continued expansion in the UK.

Guy joins the group from Crown Lift Trucks, a family-owned business with US$4 billion in global revenues. After starting out as a rental sales cadet, he worked for Crown for some 25 years, most recently as head of its UK Rental, Dealer and Used Equipment businesses. Prior to that, Guy managed Crown’s Australian Rental Division before leading its Asia Pacific Rental Division.

A marketing graduate of the University of Technology, Sydney, and with a proven track record of success in the many senior international leadership roles he has held, Guy brings with him a wealth of experience in the effective management of industrial capital equipment rental fleets and consultative business-to-business selling. Over the past decade, Guy has developed a keen interest in asset management and cost-of-sales containment, at the same time demonstrating proficiency in working with customers to promote compliance, safety, tailored power solutions and overall good practice, leading to his global reputation as a rental operation specialist.

Jamel Hussain, commercial director commented: “Over the last 12 months, we have established Laseraid as a fast-growth industry leading player in the UK aesthetic and beauty market. We are confident that, with his many years of experience in both business development and operations, Guy will continue to build on the solid base we have established here. We are fortunate to have attracted such a capable and enthusiastic individual as Guy to take over the management and ongoing growth of the UK business.”

Guy added: “Having spent my career working for a successful international business, I am excited by the prospect of joining the team and using my experience to help drive the business forward at such a crucial time in its development. As the UK’s first ‘one stop shop’ for supplying the growing market in aesthetic laser provision, Laseraid is well-placed to revolutionise the industry as its unique subscription-based offering to clinics continues to gain momentum.”

In recent years, the use of lasers by clinics, doctors and dermatology specialists has boomed as technology has become available to assist with a wide range of treatments including laser hair removal, tattoo removal, skin rejuvenation, fat freezing, body contouring and facial treatments. Laseraid UK supports the buyers and users of this growing technology on an all-inclusive subscription model where users can package the rental of the machine, servicing costs, training and marketing into one fixed monthly payment.
