CCL Facades, part of Caddick Construction Group, has appointed Danny Gubbini as commercial manager as the business looks to grow its £17m-strong work pipeline across the North of England.

Danny joins CCL Facades from Mansell Building Solutions where he was business development manager and estimator, and brings over 15 years of experience in the built environment. This includes 12 years at Dortech Architectural Systems where he was commercial manager.

Based at Caddick Construction Group’s Knottingley office, Danny will lead the commercial management of CCL Facades, supporting the design, procurement and operations teams across all of the Group’s regions.

Danny’s appointment comes as CCL Facades’ work pipeline reaches £17m, a new high following Caddick Construction Group’s acquisition of the IP for Speedpanel in October last year.

Senior team members from the former Speedclad business joined newly formed CCL Facades, bringing with them a proven track record of delivering high profile and complex schemes across the region.

CCL Facades operates across the North West, North East and Yorkshire, and has a number of prominent developments, including the design, supply and installation of the external facade at One City Park in Bradford.

Tony Blake, managing director commented: “We’ve had a really strong few months following our launch as CCL Facades in 2022, strengthening our position as a trusted and valued supply chain partner not just to our colleagues at Caddick but the wider regional industry. Danny’s appointment as Commercial Manager will strengthen our team further as we continue to grow our project pipeline while maintaining our exceptional service delivery.”

Danny added: “I’m really excited to be joining CCL Facades, to becoming part of the business’ success story and also supporting the wider Caddick Construction Group. Our industry has and continues to go through some challenges, and I am very proud to be joining Caddick Construction Group as a long-standing, reputable and strong business that is working hard to ensure our regional industry weathers these challenges. I look forward to contributing to this success and to helping to grow our project base across our key regions.”
