Chadwick Lawrence, a law firm with a history of providing exceptional legal services, supported the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) in their recent collaboration with the Leeds Rhinos Foundation to create their Healthier Hearts event. This was a family-fun day full of activities, aimed at getting children with heart conditions, and their families and friends together and active. This event took place on Friday 28 July 2023 at Leeds Rhinos Academy Training Ground.

The recent event, organised by the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and Leeds Rhinos Foundation, was a resounding success, bringing together the community in a shared mission of supporting this fantastic cause. The event provided a fun-filled day of engaging activities such as training exercises, dances and games with the coaches, and valuable health insights from on-hand experts.

The day was fundamental in raising awareness of the importance of children having a healthy and active life, especially when suffering from a heart condition. Supported by nutritionists and specialist experts from the Leeds Hospital, Leeds Rhinos Foundations coaches worked with children and their families and friends to enjoy an active day out and provide a support network for the families.

With over 60 attendees, including Leeds Rhinos Legend Zane Tetevano, along with mascots Katie Bear and Ronnie the Rhino, the event was packed full of happy faces from children and volunteers. The Chadwick Lawrence team came in their masses to sponsor the event, fund the catering and volunteer.

The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund has been making a significant impact on the lives of countless children and families, offering support and specialised care to those in need. Chadwick Lawrence is delighted to contribute to this cause and help create awareness around the importance of maintaining healthy hearts in children and adults.

"We believe in fostering a strong and healthy community, and supporting the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund aligns perfectly with our values," said Neil Wilson, Managing Partner at Chadwick Lawrence. "The event was a fantastic opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to come together, learn about heart health, and contribute to an organisation that makes a real difference." Chadwick Lawrence is delighted to have been a part of raising awareness for this brilliant cause.
