Michelle Hodgson, Director of Huddersfield Literature Festival, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to raise much-needed funds for the Festival. Covid19 meant that we had to cancel all our live events last March and we have been affected again with the recent lockdown rules – but we are determined to bring the best of literature to our supporters in West Yorkshire.”
The Festival will return on 18-28 March 20201, with the theme of ‘Escape’ and an exciting mix of outdoor and online events – followed by a programme of indoor events later in the year. Festival audiences can be confident that they will be welcomed into a safe environment with the correct Covid-19 measures in place and Safer Event Organiser Accreditation.
