Yorkshire Water is looking to expand its clean water team and is hiring 33 process engineers in York, Harrogate, the Yorkshire Dales, Keighley, Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax, Doncaster, Sheffield, Hull, and on the east coast.

The process engineers will be responsible for Yorkshire’s clean water – making sure that water production sites meet high quality standards, environmental regulations and health and safety protocols. Successful applicants will also facilitate site maintenance activities and monitor performance in order to ensure a high level of service to customers in Yorkshire is always maintained.

Deborah Feldhaus, head of water quality and production at Yorkshire Water, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming new colleagues to our team. Often people have misconceptions about water, thinking it just falls from the sky and comes out of the tap, but it’s a big task to look after our drinking water and keep Yorkshire’s taps flowing – our process engineers play a vital role in making that happen.”
