Yorkshire Water’s sister company, Loop, is recruiting 40 new customer service roles by January 2025.

Loop is the first point of contact for Yorkshire Water customers, whether that be by phone, email, letter or social media. Loop handles a customer’s enquiry and aims to exceed expectations of great service.

The new roles will be based in Bradford and are opening in line with Yorkshire Water’s commitment to support customers in challenging circumstances. A few examples of how they do this, are by:

  • Providing five financial support schemes to help customers who are struggling to pay their bill
  • Supporting over 120,000 customers who needed extra help paying their bills in the last 12 months
  • Doubling the number of customers on the Priority Services Register to more than 200,000

Loop also provides a range of other services to Yorkshire Water including helping customers with issues as diverse as flooding, noisy manhole covers, bill support, securing help for those in debt and checking the authenticity of a person wanting to gain access to their property.

Many of the agents speak more than one language, so customers have access to a multilingual service, to better meet the needs of Yorkshire Water’s diverse customer base.
