Yorkshire Presenter Ryan Swain has been recognised by the Yorkshire Choice Awards as a nominee for “Media Personality Of The Year.” Ryan was a runner-up in this category last year losing out to ITV’s Gaynor Barnes.
Ryan, who lives in Malton with his partner Natalia and identical twin girls Ivy and Isla, aged three, suffers from Adult ADHD.
Ryan works to raise awareness and funding for the disorder which affects behavior and the three main symptoms are inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity and he is a huge advocate of mental health awareness.
Ryan has had an incredible year putting the north firmly on the map in the entertainment world, winning two awards and hosting events nationwide for some of the UK’s top promoters and working with some of the biggest names in showbiz.
He has been fundraising and doing charity work since the tender age of 7 always selflessly putting others first and helping the less fortunate and has raised tens of thousands of pounds over the years for various charities doing tons of different fundraisers and volunteering his time to make a difference.

The glitzy Award Gala Dinner is the ultimate celebration of achievement in Yorkshire and takes place at The Centenary Pavilions at Leeds United on Saturday, 6th April 2019, the evening is set to be one to remember with the array of inspirational and selfless nominations received.
