The Broadway, Bradford has announced Ninja Warrior UK, a family leisure venue inspired by the hit ITV show, has signed a lease for a two-storey unit in the Centre in a move to bring the unique offering to West Yorkshire.
Located in the Petergate Mall, Ninja Warrior UK is set to open in the autumn of 2021. The lease is a first of its kind at The Broadway with the adventure park taking an impressive double aspect unit that stretches across three units on the first floor - an area traditionally used as storage for other retailers.
Ian Ward, general manager said: “The Broadway is evolving and adapting to ensure we bring the people of Bradford and the surrounding region the very best experiences as the retail industry landscape shifts. I’m immensely proud that The Broadway is home to the very first Ninja Warrior UK venue in West Yorkshire and we’re delighted to be supporting the night time economy in the shopping centre and in Bradford.
“The Broadway has always had the community at its heart; we’re a key destination for families and young people which is down to the proud title the city of Bradford holds as the youngest city in Europe. That is not to say Ninja Warrior UK is just for children and families - it's hugely popular and I’m confident it will attract visitors from the immediate West Yorkshire region and much further afield.
Ninja Warrior UK in Bradford will feature an assault course with a variety of obstacles such as ring sliders, carriage wheels, quad steps, spider walls, cliff hanger and ends with the ultimate challenge to ‘beat the wall’.
Ninja Warrior will offer a range of courses to suit all abilities and the Bradford venue will include the latest ‘Ninja Warrior Air Park’, which is a huge inflatable obstacle course with a host of fun features to be enjoyed by all age groups. The venue will have a dedicated Ninja Warrior UK merchandise store, party rooms and a food and beverage area.

We considered a number of retail venues across the north and Bradford really resonated with us. The Centre has a real buzz about it and attracts a lot of families, we therefore have huge confidence in our expansion into this part of Yorkshire.”
Bradford will be Ninja Warrior UK’s 9th venue in the UK. Other venue locations include Sheffield, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Wigan, Gloucester, Southampton, Stoke On Trent and Eastbourne.
The Broadway Bradford has more than 80 retail stores and over 10 eateries, plus an eight-screen boutique cinema.
