West Yorkshire housebuilder returns to work

Developments had been closed throughout April in order to protect the health and safety of both staff and customers.

Harron has been working hard over the last few weeks to update its operations and will be implementing a number of safety measures including enhanced PPE requirements, good hygiene practices and appropriate distancing.

Lee Howard, Health and Safety Manager said, “We’ve conducted a thorough risk assessment at each site, and are strictly following industry guidance as well as construction leadership council and government guidance to focus on the welfare of our employees. Our teams have all undergone inductions to make sure they understand and can best action the measures put into place.”

These measures mean site teams can continue work on houses under construction, although tradespeople are currently unable to enter occupied properties to ensure the wellbeing of all parties.

Noel Adams, Managing Director said “We are very pleased to be able to resume work on our developments, and look forward to completing homes we know customers have been eager to move into.

We appreciate our customers’ patience at this time. Safeguarding remains our top priority whilst we focus on constructing their dream home.”

Harron Homes’ marketing suites remain closed, but finding the perfect home from the comfort of your existing one has been made even easier with the introduction of enhanced online content as well as 360° virtual tours of the showhomes via the Harron website.
