Eaton Smith is immensely proud to confirm that, for a second year running, we have been shortlisted in the Best Legal Services Supplier category of TIGA’s 2020 Annual Awards.
Commenting on the shortlist, Chris Taylor, partner said; "We are pleased to be recognised at national awards level for our work in the UK’s video games sector. Being shortlisted for a second year running recognises the consistent work carried out and the successes achieved by our team involved in our video games work. Whilst we cannot go into detail about the work carried out, it has included assistance with early stage studios, equity investments into established studios, setting up EMI schemes, plenty of agreements being reviewed and prepared across all game development and studio needs, assistance with publishing agreements, assistance with distribution and marketing initiatives for our publisher clients, property work, employment work and dispute resolution advice when called for. This multi-disciplinary approach helps us offer a complete package for our games sector clients.
Our clients up and down the country are the creative force behind this work and we are so pleased to be able to help them at each stage of their journey. In being shortlisted for a TIGA Award, our depth and breadth of work, not to mention enthusiasm, is being recognised by the wider industry. The Awards are being held virtually and are set for late November and, as you can imagine, our team has their collective fingers crossed! It would be great to win the category but to be shortlisted is recognition enough".
TIGA is a network for games developers and digital publishers and carries out representation of the video games industry.
