Business telecommunications specialist and TopicUK partner NGC Networks has grown its turnover to more than £6m following another successful year.

Wakefield-based NGC increased its turnover by 16 per cent year-on-year and is preparing to unveil a raft of new recruits across the business. The company’s workforce currently stands at 40 people.

NGC Networks provides business telecommunications and internet connectivity solutions to companies across the North of England. Its growth has come from new client wins and organic growth.

The firm, run by directors Nikki Guest and Dean Harrop, is now expanding its offices at Calder Park by taking extra space on the first floor of the building.

NGC is also growing its North West presence following the opening of a new office in Greater Manchester earlier this year.

Dean Harrop, director of NGC Networks, said: “We provide companies with modern business telephony solutions that enable them to enhance communications, scale up, and take advantage of the latest productivity-boosting technology.

“Our growth has come across the network services and installations areas of the business. We are also seeing increased demand for our burgeoning business mobiles offering.

“As businesses look to invest in virtualised software and explore the benefits of cloud-based technology, NGC is well placed to deliver solutions that are cost effective and reliable.”

NGC Networks has partnered with CityFibre to deliver ultrafast, full fibre connectivity to local businesses in Wakefield. NGC is also helping to deliver gigabit internet speeds to companies in Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, York and Hull

The company’s expanding portfolio of clients includes Lupton Fawcett, Freeman Grattan Holdings, Harrison Spinks, Timpson, Manning Stainton, Puma UK, The Car People and Sharp Business Systems. NGC also works with academies, schools and medical centres.

NGC Networks is listed in the 2018 Northern Tech Top 100 companies.
