TikTok, Youtube and TV stars drive into Yorkshire village
A host of celebrities have announced that they will be joining a Supercar meet up in Yorkshire with famous vehicles joining the line up.
Stars of Channel 5’s Police Interceptors, Youtuber Danny Malin from Rate My Takeaway and Tiktoker Abigayle Andre from She Talks Cars will be attending the Cops and Cars, a charity event to raise money for men’s mental health charities.
The event organised by Channel 5 Police Interceptors star Ben Pearson who was forced to retire after being diagnosed with PTSD, will see good today from top cars and emergency vehicles on display.
“The event has grown year on year not only will I be joined by familiar faces from the Channel 5 show but also friends from TV and online that I’ve met since the show.”
One of those is Car and van lover known for his catchphrase “back on the road again,” Rate My Takeaway’s Danny Malin who is also passionate about raising money for men’s mental health charities.
Danny said: “From my first car which was a Fiesta 950 popular c-reg to leasing my dream car and buying a campervan for Rate My Takeaway, motors mean a lot to us and bring about some happy memories.
“Ben’s done amazingly well he’s a real inspiration coming out of the force and talking so openly about mental health. And now it’s great to see him on YouTube too
There will be traffic cops and pursuit vehicles from the show, traffic cops, officers from Motorway Cops, cars and people from Leeds Supercar Meet, North West Mustang Club and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue plus many more.
The event takes place on Saturday, August 12, 2023, from 9 am to 4 pm at New Lennerton Lane, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6JE.
