The Mountaineers have landed

Emerging from the head office of Mid UK, in the sprawling metropolis of
Caythorpe, Lincolnshire is the new team of sustainability superhero’s, Mountain Recycling.

The latest brand to join the UK group of Beauparc companies are already taking the East Midlands commercial waste market by storm, offering solutions to customers, fully backed by the infrastructure of the Beauparc Group.

Lead ‘Mountaineer’, Abigail Johnson heads the team based at Caythorpe. With 20 years of experience within the sector and region, Johnson has the remit to roll out the new division within Leicestershire and the East Midlands.
Her team of orange waste warriors hit the streets on the 1st April providing waste solutions to local businesses throughout the area.

The team has already been credited with membership of Avetta to be able to
supply the FM sector and has high ambitions to be hot on the heels of further accreditation.

The new division is supported by sister company and fellow Beauparc Group
member Mid UK Recycling. Mid UK are in-build with a new £15m investment
super material recycling facility on the existing Barkston site.

The MRF will focus on the extraction of all commodity waste streams from a dry mixed recycling source for the re-introduction back to manufacture.
Abigail Johnson comments “Having worked within the industry for a number of
years, our objective with is to provide customers with a guaranteed
sustainable and reliable local service for all their waste management needs.

The brand is so strong and working alongside our sister companies there isn’t a waste stream or geographical area we can’t cover. We have a great team of 10 that has been recruited from the local area and as the
business grows, we’ll be developing it further”.

Director of renewables for the UK, Chris Mountain had this to say “We see many waste companies that just run their own vehicles and the critical difference with is that they have the connection with Mid UK through the group to truly offer exceptional service and environmental credibility. We’re all looking forward to seeing the vehicles leave the yards on the 1st April to enter service in the East Midlands area.”

Mountain Recycling commence services on the 1st April and have a fun packed day of events online to celebrate.
