Sheffield based technical solutions company The Curve has been successfully appointed to the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) G-Cloud12 Digital Marketplace framework.
The framework, valued at £1.9bn, looks to simplify the procurement process for public sector organisations and gives them the opportunity to find and buy cloud-based computing services such as hosting, software and cloud support – including many off-the-shelf and pay-as-you go options.
The scheme G-Cloud12 Digital Marketplace framework is set to run for a minimum of 12 months.
The Curve provides a wide range of cloud software services on the G-Cloud framework, including hosting, software, and support.
Paul Ridgway CEO and co-founder said: “As we work with a number of public sector organisations what is clear is that often many of the key decision makers are faced with procurement headaches and cannot necessarily access the solutions they require quickly or conveniently.
“The CCS’s framework is therefore incredibly important to bridge the gap between private and public organisations, and it allows SMEs, such as ourselves, to be able to deliver competitive and cost-effective service offerings.”
