Multi-service brand building agency Studio LWD has made a strong start to 2021 after securing three major contracts with a trio of UK firms.

The Poulton-based firm has been appointed by contact centre software company MaxContact, commercial consultancy firm Facets, and business recovery specialists CG&Co.

Their team of strategists and creatives will work alongside MaxContact’s existing agencies, providing ongoing design and creative services, and branding support to the internal marketing team.

The contract with Facets Commercial Consultants will involve creating a new brand identity to roll out across its new website and internal docs, as well as advertising and social media.

The project with CG&Co, which started in early January, saw Studio LWD develop a new brand identity and website which moved away from the traditional look and feel associated with the insolvency industry to help the firm stand out in the market.

Studio LWD founder Laura Weldon said the new client wins were the result of building relationships with people in the industry: “Trust is very important to us as a business, so we make it our mission to build strong and lasting relationships with people in the industry.

“We have worked with MaxContact’s Head of Marketing before in her previous roles and established a strong working relationship, which we continued to invest in when she moved to her role.

“We also worked with CG&Co several years ago and so when it was time for a new brand identity, they turned to us for our strategic guidance, and this resulted in us working with them again.

“Facets’ managing director Guy Littlejohn had been working with us on an internal project and decided to entrust us with the creation of Facets’ first full brand identity after seeing the results we delivered to our clients.

“I fully believe that building relationships in today’s business world is so vital, and we will continue to take that approach throughout 2021 and beyond.”

Studio LWD is a multi-service brand building agency that captures the essence of a business ethos and creates a visionary journey which guarantees high engagement and recall.

Founded in 2012, the firm is made up of a group of strategic thinkers and creatives that create engaging work, grounded in solid strategy.

With over 15 years’ experience working with some of the world’s most iconic brands, such as Virgin, Nike, Tesco, Aldi and British Council the team are experts in their field.

The wins follow a successful 2020 when the firm hit a six-figure turnover for the first time, and the recent appointment of junior designer Rebecca Drabble.

Laura added: “Last year was a really exciting and successful year for us, despite the difficulties of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Our staff rose to the challenge and that meant 2020 was a record year for us. We reached a six-figure turnover for the first time.

“That success allowed us to expand and grow and we have made a strong start to 2021 by getting the opportunity to work with some great clients helping them to re-brand and re-focus.
