Huddersfield based recruitment agency Stafflex announces a raft of new manager promotions as part of an on-going restructure and growth strategy plan.
Stafflex has seen four senior promotions, with Peter Joseph becoming the education manager, Gill North promoted to industrial manager, Nemi Alexis promoted to marketing manager and Rosie Stahelin appointed as compliance manager.
The promotions come following a string of client acquisitions and a recent £130,000 refurbishment investment at its current site on Chapel Hill in September last year.
Gill North initially joined Stafflex as a receptionist in 2011 and has since progressed up the career ladder to now heading up the industrial sector of the business. Gill has played a key role in building up the desk’s client base working with and supporting a number of well-known manufacturers in the local region.
Peter Joseph brings a wealth of experience to the education sector. Having joined Stafflex in 2019, he has over 18 years’ experience of working primarily with young people in alternative education with special educational needs disability (SEND) and social emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.
Nemi Alexis has been promoted to marketing manager. He has been instrumental in various campaigns to raise the profile of the agency since his arrival in 2017 – most noticably developing Stafflex’s award winning sponsorship and community engagement programme over the last few years.
Rosie Stahelin has been appointed as compliance manager bringing over 5 years’ experience as a recruitment manager to the newly created position. Her new responsbilities include ensuring that office compliance such as processes, policies and procedures are up to date with current legislation and best practice.
Maggie Netherwood, joint deputy MD at Stafflex, said: “Our most important asset is our people and despite being in the midst of a pandemic with such uncertainty and hardship it is refreshing to be able to recognise and reward the hardwork of our talented individuals.”
“I would like to congratulate and thank all our new managers for the hard work and commitment that they have shown in achieving their promotions.”
Stafflex is a local family run business that provides thousands of quality workers each year to the education, office, industrial and engineering sectors throughout West Yorkshire.
