Silicon Yorkshire to bring tech sector together during sprint event
Silicon Yorkshire, the business group that brings the Yorkshire tech community together, is encouraging professionals from across the sector to attend its spring event.
Taking place on Wednesday 23 March at Chaophraya in Leeds from 5.30pm to midnight, the get-together sponsored by KnowSomeone, iSource Group, Hippo Digital and Snowflake will be an opportunity for professionals from the tech and digital sectors to ignite conversation, boost networks, connect businesses, accelerate start-ups and unlock value.
With more people now meeting for work events as all restrictions are lifted, it is hoped that it will attract hundreds of registered guests.
During the event, which is free of charge, a selection of delicious canapes will be shared as delegates discuss innovative ideas, share contacts and debate the topics that matter to them most, all while building lasting relationships.
Founding Director of Silicon Yorkshire, Geoff Shepherd, comments: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank KnowSomeone, the digital recruitment tech disruptor, for sponsoring the event. It is only through this support that we can host these drinks evenings.
“It’s really encouraging to be arranging events again and bringing people together. While there is huge value in online connectivity, to build trusted relationships we need the opportunity to meet in person too.
“We hope that lots of people will take the time to come along and to extend their networks with others from the digital and tech sectors.”
In addition to KnowSomeone, the event will be sponsored by Leeds based Hippo Digital, a high-growth full service digital consultancy; iSource Group, the IT, digital and change management recruitment specialist based in Leeds; Snowflake, the cloud data platform working with clients across the globe.”
