Sheffield Flexible workspace provider doubles footprint due to demand
Wizu Workspace, leading flexible workspace provider, has expanded its presence in Sheffield by taking on two extra floors at 32 Eyre Street, c. 12,000 square feet. The landmark building is centrally located just a few minutes’ walk from the mainline train station and is also easily accessible from surrounding commuter villages.
The space, which is set to attract new businesses into the city, will include a purpose-built event space for up to 70 people, a 14-person meeting room, available for hire by existing members and for external companies, plus a range of private offices for teams of all sizes.
The move comes as Wizu prepares to double in size over the next three years.
Tom Almas, co-founder and managing director, said: “We’re thrilled to be growing our community in Sheffield, which has a thriving technology, creative and freelance scene. Cities such as Sheffield are fantastic alternatives to London for ambitious, fast-growing businesses. Whilst the cost of living is lower, the talent is every bit as good - and the transport links are arguably better.
More and more businesses are discovering the benefits of flexible workspace, with no long-term commitment and full support. Our work-ready spaces are fully inclusive, saving time; but they also save you money, as our members can tap into our economies of scale rather than negotiating with IT, cleaning or furniture suppliers on their own.
We have had a fantastic year so far and are excited about the prospects for 2023. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for us to expand our offering and help more companies boost their productivity by taking advantage of our flexible working solutions."
