The Personal Injury Awards, hosted by Claims Media, was held virtually on Tuesday 1st December and was hosted by Matthew Maxwell Scott, executive director at the Association of Consumer Support Organisations and the chair of the independent judging panel.

The Awards recognised and celebrated the excellence of individuals and organisations across the sector, including Ramsdens’ very own Natalie Marrison, Head of Abuse and Personal Injury, who was shortlisted and announced winner of the Claimant Lawyer of the Year Award.

In his speech during the ceremony, Matthew Maxwell Scott, paid tribute to the personal injury sector and how quickly it adapted to the pandemic.

He said: "As the awards entries showed the judges, there are firms and practitioners out there doing brilliant and innovative work on behalf of injured people, their families and their communities. Time after time we see professionals going above and beyond expectations and bringing hope and comfort to their clients when they need it the most."

On announcing the Claimant of the Year Award, he said of Natalie: “The winner is an outstanding practitioner, trains junior staff, supports younger colleagues, demonstrates strong leadership and advocates for human rights.”

Natalie commented on the win: “I am delighted to have won this award. My team and I have worked tirelessly to provide the best possible service for our clients, in an approachable and friendly manner. This award recognition highlights the fantastic work and dedication provided by each and every member of my team, that help contribute towards our joint approach.”
