Hexagon team up with world class partners to launch Centricity™.

Centricity™, the end-to-end Direct to Consumer offering which puts the customer at the heart of every D2C journey, has launched.

Covid 19, lockdown and the high street being closed have caused a boom in online and digital trading – and a large part of this consumer shift looks set to stay. However, in an increasingly competitive landscape, an optimised D2C strategy and execution is crucial.

Hexagon has developed Centricity™ which covers everything from the assessment of a company’s D2C capability, through strategy, planning and implementation of those plans.

Ben Willis, MD of Retail at Hexagon Consultants explains: “Given the global trend on Direct to Consumer (D2C), which is now significantly outpacing traditional retail and e-commerce in terms of growth, we have been working hard to create a full end to end D2C offering including a diagnostic tool which enables Manufacturers and Brands to assess where they are on this critical D2C journey.”

Centricity™ was created by Hexagon in collaboration with their extensive D2C partner network, which includes experts with exceptional capabilities across demand generation, webstore, payments, fulfilment, returns, customer data and regulatory aspects of the D2C journey.

The results of the Centricity™ assessment can be broken down into specific areas of interest, for examination in more detail, to understand strengths as well as any weaknesses that need to be addressed. Ultimately, it provides comprehensive insight to steer businesses towards achieving best D2C practice.

Businesses looking to succeed in the Direct to Consumer (D2C) sector can access Centricity™ capability in three ways, depending on company requirements:

  • Free online diagnostic tool: a user-completed series of high-level questions, which comes with a free follow-up report from one of our senior consultants.
  • Desktop diagnostic version: a more detailed user-completed questionnaire covering relevant aspects of the business is reviewed and assessed remotely and in more detail.
  • An interview and full evidenced based diagnostic: this is the most comprehensive assessment. They visit the workplace itself, to see the business in action for ourselves, allowing them to interview key stakeholders in person, as well as review all operations and data.

Ben Willis explains more: “The Centricity™ offering is the outcome of the partner ecosystem that we’ve built, utilising thought leadership that we have built into its design. The name “Centricity™” stems from the fact that we believe customer centricity has to be at the heart of an organisation’s culture to have a successful D2C offering.”

Peter Ahye, CEO of Hexagon Consultants Limited “The launch of this pioneering, but much needed offering comes at a time when the retail landscape has been turned on its head. This change was always coming, but the events of the past 12 months have accelerated and reaffirmed changing consumer behaviours. Our research indicates that the potential for Manufacturers and Brands to get their D2C offering wrong, is immense! With a consumer centric approach and the expertise of all of our Partners under one roof, businesses now have a chance to get expertise and the opportunity to get ahead of the pack.”
