Sheffield-based strategic healthcare PR and communications agency Evergreen PR has been appointed by Ethoss Regeneration to deliver a PR campaign aimed at closing ‘critical knowledge gaps’ in dental implant procedures.

Every year, thousands of people require bone grafts as part of dental implant procedures to replace missing teeth - yet many are unaware of their rights or options when it comes to choosing the bone graft material that’s best for them, whether it’s derived from animals, humans, or man-made synthetic sources.

Evergreen PR will support Silsden-based Ethoss Regeneration - a leading global producer of an innovative synthetic bone grafting material designed to support natural bone regrowth - in delivering a programme of PR activity aimed at educating patients on their rights and the choices available to them

Evergreen PR was appointed following a competitive pitch process against two other agencies. The healthcare PR agency will approach the challenge of reaching patients through its proprietary MERTO Map Framework, identifying the ‘most effective route to outcomes’ by applying behaviour science and prioritisation principles to define the optimum strategy, messaging and activity.

Peter Wheeler, managing director at Ethoss Regeneration, said: “We were blown away by Evergreen PR’s energy, their deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and their strategic approach to healthcare communications.

“They have a proven track record of delivering health campaigns that really move the dial, and we’re excited to be working with them on our first-ever campaign aimed at patients.”

Leigh Greenwood, Evergreen PR founder and managing director, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Ethoss with this breakthrough health campaign designed to close critical information gaps around dental implant procedures and help patients make informed choices.

“Getting cut-through with patients can be challenging. But, with our MERTO Map planning tool, we have a tried and tested method for creating breakthrough campaigns that reach our target audiences and drive them to act, so we’re confident of igniting momentum around this important issue among patients.”

Evergreen PR has a successful track record of delivering health campaigns that achieve tangible outcomes. A previous breakthrough campaign with Tinnitus UK led to 140,000 people signing a petition calling for more funding for tinnitus research and they have won 36 industry awards in the last five years.
