Oktoberfest returns to Chow Down
Steins, Wurst and more - 23rd and 24th September, 30th September and 1st October
After a two-year hiatus, Oktoberfest Leeds returns to Chow Down, Leeds' largest outdoor entertainment venue. Prepare to celebrate everything Bavarian, including an incredible selection of German beers, street food, and lots of dancing. Tickets are already selling quickly, so get yours while they last.
Leeds' favourite indie food and drink spot will be reimagined with a Bavarian beer hall theme over two weekends in September. Relax and sip a range of German beer from Hofbrau, Ayinger, Erdinger, Augustiner in one of the cosy booths, Ski Lodge or the Chow Down Pergola. Not fully into beer? There will also be the usual incredible cocktail and prosecco offerings for non-beer drinkers.
Oktoberfest Leeds will also feature a diverse range of food, with Alley Cats from Leeds serving traditional bratwurst this year, as well as rotating world food kitchens, with Asado Kitchen and Luigi Street Food on weekend one, and Sabroso Street and the Asian Street Food Market on weekend two, so we've got your Oktoberfest food and drink covered.
The Bavarian Strollers provide foot-stomping entertainment having a legacy with the festival from previous years, making sure they have the entire audience up and dancing, singing, and clapping. They've toured the world, bringing their distinct brand of oompah music to beer hall audiences. They'll keep the party going with a series of Bavarian table dances (which are NOT the same as English table dances) and plenty of German toasts or 'Prosits.' The band will perform two 45-minute sets of live music at each session.
Tickets start from £15 and include a free steins plus waiter/waitress table service and all the information is available over at Chow Down Events - https://www.chowdownevents.co.uk/tickets
