Nominations open for the Business for Calderdale Awards 2023

Nominations are open for The Business for Calderdale Awards 2023 which will take place on Wednesday 13th October 2023 at The Venue, Barkisland celebrating the achievements of businesses in the borough over the last year.

This is an opportunity for businesses who are delivering excellence the recognition that they deserve and be celebrated.
Categories include:

• New Business of the Year
• SME of the Year
• Manufacturer of the Year
• Employer of the Year
• Entrepreneur of the Year
• International Trade/Export
• Excellence in Customer Service
• Business of the Year
• Lifetime Achievement

Chair of Business for Calderdale, Nick Worsnop explained, ""After the great success of last year’s inaugural awards, we are looking forward to receiving entries in the various categories. You can nominate your own business or nominate another business that you believe deserves recognition.
"In these difficult times, with the various economic and social pressures all businesses are under, it is more important than ever to recognise the achievements of the many diverse businesses we have in Calderdale.

"Once again this year, BfC, which is a not-for-profit organisation, will be donating the entire surplus from the Awards to the Community Foundation for Calderdale.

"I would like to thank both old and previous sponsors for their kind involvement without which the awards and the ceremony itself could not take place."
