NHS Sustainability Partnerships host their first event
The NHS Sustainability Partnerships, formally The NHS Sustainability Day of Action are running their first event for 2021. The 2021 Sustainability Agenda webinar will be the scene-setter for the entire year.
The NHS Sustainability Partnerships is an initiative that brings together events, awards, reports and the continued ‘Day of Action’. The purpose is to share sustainable practices across the NHS in the hope of delivering carbon-neutrality across the trusts.
The webinar will bring together a panel of NHS experts and thought leaders to debate and discuss their sustainability agendas, their goals for 2021 and their strategies for meeting targets.
This event is entirely free for everyone, whether you work with or within the NHS or not, this is your opportunity to gain valuable insight and pose your own questions on the priorities of sustainability managers across the country.
The panel line-up includes:
• Francesca Silcocks, Sustainability Manager at the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust
• Kathryn Dapre, Head of Energy and Sustainability at the NHS National Services, Scotland
• Grace Ryder, Energy and Sustainability Manager, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust
• Alexis Percival, Environmental and Sustainability Manager, Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Georgia Halston, Co-Owner of The NHS Sustainability Partnerships said; “We chose this event as our first as it encompasses all areas of sustainability and the strategies that are in place to create a ‘Net Zero’ NHS. It sets the tone for the rest of the year where we are delving into specific areas such as sustainability in the supply chain, medicine and facilities.”
The event will take place on the 21st of January and for anyone wishing to attend they must register through the Eventbrite page.
