New JRP and EV3 Partnership to help businesses reach net zero
One of the region’s leading architectural practices JRP Associates has partnered with sustainability consultants EV3 Power to offer sustainable solutions to the construction and industrial sectors to help them achieve net zero.
JRP Associates delivers commercially successful developments for a range of clients, from NHS Trusts, private homeowners and national housing developers to the UK’s biggest land, property and regeneration companies.
Their range of services includes master planning, commercial and industrial planning and landscaping services as well as large scale and bespoke residential projects. This new collaboration with EV3 Power widens their services, allowing them to offer turnkey planning and design solutions with sustainability built-in.
EV3 Power works with tier one contractors, local authorities, developers, logistics firms and education institutions, providing them with complete sustainability solutions, from advice on power and cost savings, to cutting-edge technology to help meet their environmental targets.
They actively seek out the world’s most innovative sustainability products to bring the best solutions to the UK market. Their portfolio includes solar panels, batteries, EV chargers, electric bus and HGV chargers, carbon-free off-grid power supplies and many more that are sourced from the world’s leading manufacturers of sustainable technology.
They are completely independent and take an agnostic approach to consultancy which means they are not tied to any one solution and work with their clients to develop a roadmap that meets their budget and their long-term needs.
After Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s commitment to cut carbon emissions in the UK by 78% by 2035 and the Environment Agency targeting net-zero emissions by 2030, the pressure is building to be more sustainable.
The demand for sustainable solutions in the housing and manufacturing sectors has increased dramatically in recent years and this new collaboration will enable JRP to help their clients create future-ready developments by drawing on EV3 Power’s experience in the sector.
“With many Local Authorities declaring a Climate Emergency, sustainability is dominating the agenda. With this collaboration with EV3 we hope to bring solutions to the table for our clients and other companies in the sector that make the most of our in-depth knowledge in planning and designs combined with EV3’s environmental expertise and product portfolio” said JRP Associates Managing Director, Vikki Sykes.
“For example, one of the key challenges facing housebuilders right now is finding cost-effective alternatives to gas boilers. The government announced that by 2025, all new homes will be banned from installing gas and oil boilers and will instead be heated by low-carbon alternatives.
“We’re working together to create a suite of viable options for developers that can be designed in at the planning stages. We’re looking at everything from energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness to ease of installation and already have some workable solutions that will help our clients answer some of their toughest questions.”
“By working with JRP, who have a great history and many contacts in the industry, we are offering something that is cost effective, easy to access and implement,” added EV3 Power’s MD, Pete Bevils.
“Together, we are giving housebuilders and business in the commercial and industrial sector, a turnkey solution to sustainability, planning and design.”
