ACS Stainless Steel Limited has announced further growth this month, with the appointment of three new hires and an internal promotion – taking the company’s total headcount to 118.
The Cross Green based business has appointed Gareth Twohey as commercial director, Kate Robertson Hart as marketing manager, and former Leeds Rhinos player Richie Mathers as business manager.
ACS is a leading Yorkshire manufacturer and designer of structural building components, providing patented innovative solutions, including masonry support and brick panel solutions – essential construction components used in construction of the largest modern-day projects in the UK. The company’s managing director David Flannery said: “2022 has been all about growth, investing in our factory and our Yorkshire-based workforce, and I am delighted to welcome our new colleagues to the team.
“We have ambitious plans for the future as we seek to develop new products for our clients; Gareth, Kate and Richie’s expertise will be invaluable as we move forward into a new year.”
An experienced commercial and operations professional, Morley-based Gareth has spent time working at businesses including Civils & Lintels, Utility Power Systems and Keyline Civils and Drainage. Speaking of his appointment he added: “ACS is a great business, and I am delighted to be joining an organisation so committed to growth, with ongoing investment that is helping create innovative and sustainable solutions for clients in the construction sector.
“I look forward to supporting my new colleagues in their plans for 2023.”
Robertson Hart joins the business following five years with Manchester-based regeneration company Urban Splash, while Richie joins from tyre company Goodyear having spent 14 years as a professional rugby league player representing Leeds Rhinos, Warrington Wolves and Australia’s Gold Coast Titans.
Meanwhile incumbent colleague Sarah Cox has been promoted to business unit manager.
