A total of £75,000 will be given in an effort to help maintain road surfaces on East Street, while £90,000 will enhance public open spaces, with a £66,000 affordable housing contribution.

Additional donations include £20,000 split proportionately between a new bus shelter and the implementation of a Travel Plan Monitoring scheme, and £23,335 for providing metrocards for eligible, local passengers.

Kelly Booth, Marketing and Sales Director said: “It is a huge pleasure to be making these contributions to Birchencliffe, which will come as a huge benefit to those living in and around the village.
