Businesses across the Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield districts are set to experience increased business growth support as The Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce reveals a brand-new look and introduces three district sub divisions to its existing structure.
The Chamber has introduced the Halifax & District Chamber of Commerce, the Huddersfield & District Chamber of Commerce, and the Wakefield & District Chamber of Commerce with a view to strengthening the local representation and support it provides.
The rebrand includes a growing ‘B’ within the logo, acting as a visual metaphor to illustrate business growth.
The Chamber, first established in 1853 and becoming The Mid Yorkshire Chamber in 1993, is one of 54 Chambers accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce and has a proud history of driving growth amongst businesses of all sizes across the Halifax, Huddersfield and Wakefield districts.
Members will also benefit from new, localised networking events and conferences, business support services and have district representation, as well as wider regional support.
Martin Hathaway, managing director of the Mid Yorkshire Chamber, said: “We wanted to bring our brand more in line with The Chamber network, showcase our drive for business growth, as well as communicate our member benefits in a clearer way.
“Introducing the sub districts means that we can provide even more local support to businesses with the region. We understand that all businesses think differently and have different needs, especially across the various districts. We are still one Chamber but with three districts and we hope this more localised support will be more beneficial to our members.”
