Established over 45 years ago, Michael Wilson & Son Limited has built a stellar reputation in the local area for delivering outstanding craftsmanship and bespoke services in building, roofing, and property maintenance services. Through dedication to their clients and the community, the company continues to grow and adapt while staying true to its family values and focus on excellence.
Michael began the business in 1979, working with domestic customers and supporting commercial property management agencies in the 1980s and 1990s. Initially many of the jobs were small extensions, re-roofing and roof repairs.
The business now predominantly works in the commercial sector, providing building, roofing and access hire services to local authorities, hospitals and a range of high street retailers and banks.
Eaton Smith’s Business of the Month Award celebrates companies that demonstrate excellence in various areas, including innovation, community involvement, and strong leadership. As the September winner, Michael Wilson & Son Limited is automatically shortlisted for the Business of the Year Award, which will be announced at a special ceremony in June 2025.
