Manor House Lindley wins gold at White Rose Awards

Manor House Lindley has won gold in the Inn & Restaurant with Rooms category at Welcome to Yorkshire’s White Rose Awards 2019, overcoming stiff competition from venues across the region.

The White Rose Awards recognise the very best in Yorkshire tourism, and this category recognises an inn or restaurant with rooms that has demonstrated an exemplary guest satisfaction rate, innovation in the industry, and fast growth, with plans to take the business to the next level in the coming year.

The venue, based in Huddersfield, opened its doors only last year and has since gone from strength to strength, providing a fantastic guest experience for all of those lucky enough to visit. The award, which is highly coveted, is a formal recognition of the hard work of the Manor House Lindley team and a huge achievement for the venue.

Mark Ayre, General Manager, commented ‘We are extremely proud that Manor House Lindley has been awarded Gold. We were up against some fantastic venues in this category, so it formally recognises the efforts of our amazing team that puts our guests and the Manor House experience at the forefront of all that they do.’

Chair of Judges for the White Rose Awards, Elaine Lemm, said ‘It’s been fantastic to see all these wonderful businesses who work so hard giving visitors to Yorkshire the best experience possible and ultimately keep them coming back year on year. These businesses go above and beyond, and it’s been brilliant to see them get the recognition they deserve.
