In early December we were saddened to report the loss of TopicUK and Yorkshire Businesswoman business executive Mandy Taylor, who lost her battle to Cancer.
Mandy's funeral took place on December 30 at Huddersfield Crematorium and was attended by many from the world of business and showbusiness alongside Mandy's family.
One day later our spirits were lifted when we learned that Mandy had been recognised by her Majesty and awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours, for services to charity. An amazing achievement.
For almost 10 years Mandy had lived with cancer, firstly breast cancer which she beat twice then a rare nasal cancer, which spread to her liver and which finally took her.Throughout the years, she never complained, was always upbeat and positive and threw herself into raising funds for charity. Mandy joined us in November 2018 quickly becoming a valued member of the team and a good friend, she will be sadly missed every day.
