Leeds IT firm backs Yorkshire Children’s Charity

Leeds tech company Greyhound IT has pledged support to some of the region’s most disadvantaged families by becoming a patron of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity.

The Trust provides respite breaks to children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, mental health issues, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse.

From its base in Kirkstall, Greyhound IT provides, IT consultancy, cybersecurity, backup, server and cloud support to businesses throughout Leeds, West and North Yorkshire.

Drawing on over five decades combined IT experience, Greyhound business partners Andrew Johnson and Chris Davies joined forces in 2024, offering transformative IT solutions to a growing client base of SMEs.

Welcoming the announcement, The Trust’s Partnership and Engagement Manager, Kerry Magson said, ‘We are delighted that Greyhound IT has joined The Principle Trust as a patron; they are a young, dynamic firm with a growing reputation; thanks to generous businesses like Greyhound, The Trust is able support hundreds of families each year.’

Co-director of Greyhound IT, Andrew Johnson, added,‘Chris and I are pleased to support The Principle Trust in helping some of our region’s most disadvantaged families to escape their everyday troubles and spend some time creating valuable, happy memories.’

Since its launch in 2011, The Principle Trust Children’s Charity has provided respite breaks for 5,700 children across the Yorkshire region.
